To pursue his career, he left Wisconsin University for a play company. Willem also voice acted for Finding Nemo, a Pixar film.
When asked about his childhood, he said it was his sisters who brought him up, because his parents worked too much. In 2005, after meeting her in Rome a year previously, he spontaneously married Giada Colagrande.
One of his latest projects is called Twelve Minutes starring Daisy Ridley, James McAvoy and Willem Dafoe.Dafoe has been in many outstanding Hollywood movies over the years, including Antichrist (2009) a horror film directed by Lars von Trier, Platoon (1986), The Lighthouse (2019) with Robert Pattinson, Spider-Man (2002), The Boondock Saints (1999) and so many others.
